#PakistanGeneralElections2018
So the anticipated big day is here #Pakistangeneralelections2018. I'm not going to bore you by harping about why it's much more important this time, if you have a slighest inclination & interest in your nation's future collectively, & yours individually, I would say things are on the right track so far.
Since Independence day is approaching in a few days too, I had a few things on my mind that I wanted to share.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Plant a 🌲.
Conserve your local resources by responsible usage of electricity & water.
Vote responsibly, not just blindly voting the candidate of your caste which btw has done for a long time. Don't let yourselves be fooled over empty promises of the politicians, thinking that they deserve a second chance due to either their prison sentences that they claim were solely embraced for the purpose of nation's love, or because their mother/father/brother/sister were killed when their only crime was to be a true Pakistani, or just because lets give them a chance because they never really got one!
You are more educated, and well aware of the time and needs of the present, no offense to the political past decisions and turn of events. You want better job & education opportunities, which will make people independent enough to work for their own roti, kapra, makaan ( bread, clothing and roof over your head). That slogan has been misused since the day democracy came into being & the authorities in power had been leeching on since . Go learn about your candidates, their mandates, and make sure if you can, tell them in proper ways and channels that they are indeed accountable to you and others voting for them.
Today, on 25th July 2018, vote and pledge for a better Pakistan.
